Listing guidelines

Wombourne Online is a directory for Wombourne. Here’s who we can list, and what we ask of everyone who’s on it.

Who can be listed

Listing is free for businesses, clubs, groups, charities and services that are part of Wombourne life. To be listed, you need to be one of these:

  • Based in Wombourne. Your shop, premises or office is in the village, or you run your business from a home in Wombourne.
  • Meeting in Wombourne. Your club, class or group meets regularly in the village – for example at the Civic Centre, Community Centre, library, a church hall or a local school.

Who we can’t list

  • Businesses based outside Wombourne – including the neighbouring villages – even if they work in or deliver to Wombourne.
  • National or online businesses with no branch, base or regular presence in Wombourne.
  • Anything illegal, adult or gambling-related, or anything we feel isn’t right for a family-friendly community website.

Not sure if you qualify?

Get in touch before you apply. Tell us where you’re based, or where your group meets, and we’ll let you know. Every listing is checked by hand, and the final decision on whether to list is ours.

What we ask of everyone listed

  • Keep it up to date. Let us know when anything changes using the Update your listing form.
  • Be contactable. Give us a working phone number or email address.
  • Use your own images. Only send photos and logos you own or have permission to use. Please don’t send photos of children unless their parents or guardians are happy for them to appear online.
  • One listing per business. If you run more than one business, each can have its own listing.
  • Let us edit. We may shorten or tidy descriptions, and we may remove listings that are out of date, no longer trading or don’t meet these guidelines.
